There once lived a young girl, Amethyst Rose
Who lived where the wild wood grows
With enchanted animals she played
In the enchanted forest where she stayed
A friend to every magical beast
A beautiful girl to say the least
So pretty her smile warmed bitter souls
Everyone loved sweet Amethyst Rose
One night a loud growl startled her awake
From the bushes beside her the beast spake
His snarls and growls as beastly as he
Old Goulem jumped from the bushes for her to see
His awful face too terrible to stand
She hid her eyes with her hand
But her heart was as warm as he was cold
The smile upon her lips lovely to behold
His anger gone his looks took shape
A handsome prince stood in his place
No longer Goulem- for he was mean
But now Prince Braveheart tall and lean
A white horse appeared out of the misty glen
Prince Braveheart offered a hand to his friend
Galloping off to seek bitter souls in need
Their only mission was to do a good deed
A new life the enchanted duo would make
Spreading hope and gladness in their wake
